Increase the Efficiency of Dispersive Liquid-Liquid Microextraction (DLLME) and its Use for the Determination of Lead (II) in Aqueous Solutions

Abstract A simple, sensitive, and greener method for green extraction preconcentration of lead from aqueous media further assay by UV-Vis spectrophotometer has been developed using 1,5 diphenylthiocarbazone (dithizone). Several factors dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction (DLLME) including the type volume solvents, shaking time, concentration dithizone as a complexing agent, pH were optimized. Under optimum selected conditions, limit detection (LOD), quantification (LOQ), linearity range, relative standard deviation (RSD), Enrichment factor (EF) proposed obtained at 0.007 ppm, 0.025 0.01-0.1 4.3% (n = 3) 40, respectively. This was successfully applied in analysis three synthetic water samples good spiked recoveries over range 96.0–98.5% obtained.
